Renovation of a long-established Kappo ryokan due to a change in ownership.
Taking advantage of the spectacular view of the Tenryu River gorge, we created an interior and lighting plan that matches Zen-style ebony-colored floors, beams, and ceilings. The lobby, which overlooks a scenic Japanese garden with lovely jazz music, was carefully designed to provide a space where guests can relax freely.
You can also feel cool breeze blowing up from the river while bathing in Onsen.
