We renovated a corner room in a vintage condominium with a view from Sky Tree to Yokohama and Mt. Fuji into a “hotel-like residence,” as desired by a young doctor couple. They told us about the paintings they wanted to hang, so we were able to create a sense of unity in the overall color scheme. In addition, since the original path from the entrance to each room was luxuriously designed, we just changed the finishing materials for the floors, walls, ceilings, and fittings to create a hotel-like space.
The couple, who often travel on business for conferences, said that “coming home is like walking into a hotel suite,” and that it soothes their fatigue from work. Flower-loving couple regularly have their flowers arranged by a florist.
スカイツリーから横浜や富士山まで見渡せるヴィンテージマンションの角部屋を、若い医師夫妻のご希望であった「ホテルのような住まい」にリノベーションしました。設計に入る前から飾りたい絵画を教えてくださっていたため、飾る場所を中心に全体の色彩に統一感を持たせることができました。また、もともと玄関から各居室への導線が贅沢に作られていたため、床・壁・天井・建具の仕上材を変更してホテルライクな空間に仕上げました。
学会で出張の多いご夫妻は「帰宅するとホテルのスイートルームに入っていくよう」と、仕事の疲れが癒されるとのこと。
